Our story started exactly where you'd expect it to—with cattle.

In the fall of 2022, I traveled to Ekalaka, Montana, to pregnancy-check cows for my dad and brother. At the same time, Kasey was there hauling our family's calves back to Kansas for them. Neither of us expected that an ordinary day spent helping family would end up changing our lives. We met while working the same operation, and before long we found ourselves working cattle side by side. That first day together turned into our first date, and the rest is history.

From the very beginning, we realized we had more in common than just agriculture. We shared the same values, the same work ethic, and the same appreciation for the simple things in life. Whether it's long days working cattle, miles spent driving back roads, cheering each other on in our careers, or just enjoying a quiet evening together, we've learned that the best moments are often the ones you never planned.

Over the years, we've built a life centered around faith, family, and the rural lifestyle we both love. We've celebrated successes, worked through challenges, and made countless memories along the way. Through every season, we've been grateful to have each other by our side.

When Kasey proposed while we were feeding cattle, it couldn't have been more perfect. It wasn't a grand production or an elaborate surprise—it was simple, heartfelt, and completely us. Looking back, it's only fitting that another ordinary day on the ranch became one of the most unforgettable days of our lives.
